Climate
Florida is located in a subtropical climate. Thus the fauna and flora is diverse. In areas with a lot of sun, it is normally brown and barren. In Florida though, the country shows itself in natural green throughout the whole year. The reason is that despite the intense sun, there’s also rain.
The southern part of Florida consists mainly of marshland (Everglades National Park). Mangroves grow in large quantities in these swamps. Apart from that, there is a variety of tropical plants which grow in Florida. From blooming palms over citrus trees to a great diversity of species of pine, but also many colorful varieties of flowers thrive here.
